Boiler Servicing and Repair

Here's what a typical boiler service will include:
 

Visual inspection

We begin with a visual inspection to identify any signs of damage or components that mey need cleaning and adjustment.

 

Control and safety devices

All boilers have a number of safety devices and controls (such as flame sense devices which ensure the boiler does not release gas without a flame present to ignite it). We check that all of the boiler functions are working correctly.

 

Combustion release and flue

We check the construction, termination and route of the flue (pipe from your boiler to the outside of your house) and make sure there are no obstructions and that the flue is safely fitted.

Conduct a record

We undertake and record the results of boiler pressure and heat input. These records are provided to you and are useful information to keep for future inspections or if a problem does arise in the future.
 

Check boiler is ready for use

At the end of a boiler service, we will make sure the boiler is working optimally. If we altered your setting during the service, we'll put them back the way they were.
 

Update your service book

In order to keep your manufacturers warranty it's essential that your boiler servicing records are updated by a qualified technician. As the last step in our service process we'll do this for you.
